Position Summary:
The Clerical Specialist III reports to the Payroll Processing and Integrations Manager and serves as a key point of contact for employees and business units via email, internal/external ticketing systems, and mail. This role provides reporting support for various business units and ad hoc requests and collaborates closely with payroll staff and functional analysts to support departmental operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a primary contact for employee and business unit inquiries, providing guidance and resolving issues.
  • Execute routine tasks independently and with high attention to detail.
  • Manage multiple time-sensitive activities and shifting priorities effectively.
  • Support project teams, including participation in user testing of payroll-related processes.
  • Adapt to changes in policies, procedures, and controls with minimal supervision.
  • Follow management instructions accurately and consistently.
  • Provide reporting support and respond to ad hoc data requests

Functional Knowledge & Skills:

  • Solid understanding of HR, Payroll, and Timekeeping systems.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and complex functions.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and communicate process exceptions.
  • Ability to maintain detailed records, organize data, and generate reports.
  • Effective communication skills, including working with a remote workforce across the U.S. and Canada.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
  • Strong work ethic with a focus on delivering results and contributing to team success.
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to build strong working relationships.
  • Skilled in developing desktop procedures and basic process maps.
  • Capable of performing scripted testing for new configurations and processes.

Education & Experience:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong analytical capabilities, particularly in data manipulation, reporting, and visualization.
  • Payroll experience preferred.
  • Experience with outsourced payroll models is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Workday is preferred.

U.S. Salary Range:

$23.00 - $31.35

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.

For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
