Applied Materials’ Silicon Product Group is searching for an intern to join our team in summer 2024! Our operations team keeps everyday functions on track with a focus on strategic & tactical actions. The position will entail the following:
- Analyze supply chain data to identify opportunities for process improvement while gaining valuable skills in inventory management, data analysis, and process improvement
- Enhance the optimization of transportation logistics and supply chain through the analysis of transportation modes and delivery schedule routes
- Shadow experienced logistics professionals to understand day-to-day warehouse operations
Requirements
- Student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Logistics Operations, Warehouse/Inventory Management, Supply Chain, or a related field
- Student must be in good academic standing at their university, with a preferred GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale
- Experience in development of processes and procedures a plus
- Quick learner with a sense of urgency
Compensation
$24 - $30 per hour
The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on a number of factors including location and education level and will vary depending on confirmed job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Requirements
- Student must be pursuing a bachelor’s or master's degree program in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Student must be in good academic standing at their university, with a preferred GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale.
- Experience in warehouse or inventory management preferred.
- Quick learner.
- Excellent Written / Verbal Communication Skills.\

YesThe salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.
For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
