We are seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient Senior Director of Cybersecurity Architecture to join our global cybersecurity team. This individual contributor role is responsible for designing secure, scalable architectures, defining enterprise-wide security architecture standards, and evaluating emerging technologies to proactively identify and mitigate cybersecurity risks.

This position is centered on technical architecture, innovation, and the strategic design of cybersecurity capabilities across a complex, global enterprise. You’ll play a critical role in shaping how cybersecurity is built into the fabric of our technology ecosystem—driving forward-thinking solutions that protect our business at scale and velocity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and evolve enterprise-wide cybersecurity architectures that align with business goals and technology strategies.

  • Define and maintain architecture standards, reference models, and secure design patterns.

  • Lead the evaluation of emerging technologies, threat trends, and security innovations to inform architectural strategy.

  • Identify architectural risks early in the solution lifecycle and develop mitigation strategies.

  • Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, and application teams to embed security into solution design and delivery.

  • Drive adoption of zero trust principles, secure-by-design practices, and modern identity and access management models.

  • Provide deep technical expertise and mentorship to architects, engineers, and security professionals across the organization.

  • Influence vendor and technology selection through architectural assessments and proof-of-concept evaluations.

  • Partner with product and platform teams to ensure security is integrated into CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.

  • Serve as a thought leader and trusted advisor to senior technical and business stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Security, or a related field.

  • 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 5 years in a senior architecture or technical leadership role.

  • Equivalent knowledge to CISSP certification (CISSP preferred).

  • Deep expertise in enterprise security architecture, secure system design, and cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP).

  • Strong understanding of zero trust, identity and access management, encryption, and secure networking.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.

  • Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced, global environment.

U.S. Salary Range:

$216,000.00 - $297,000.00

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.

For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
