JOB DESCRIPTION FORM
Position: Engineering Technician
Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective using existing solutions. Works independently, receives minimal guidance. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understands electrical assemblies, hydraulic/pneumatic assemblies, mechanical assemblies along with layouts/schematics and/or detailed drawings/specifications as per specification.
- Problem identification and troubleshooting a variety of complex electrical and mechanical problems with supervision.
- .
- Generate electrical or mechanical product specifications, standard operating procedures, maintenance manuals.
- Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience; may lead small projects with manageable risks and resource requirements.
- Demonstrates conceptual and practical expertise in own discipline and basic knowledge of related disciplines
- Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus.
Job Specific Knowledge
- Thorough knowledge of Electrical engineering design/ Mechanical engineering design concepts and techniques.
- Knowledge in OEM Selection, automation, Mechanical drawings, pneumatics, vacuum systems.
- Basic knowledge on Electronics/ Mechanical engineering discipline, automation will be an added advantage.
- General knowledge of appropriate materials, components and technologies used in the semiconductor equipment industry.
Qualification:
- Degree / Diploma in Mechatronics / Electrical / Mechanical /Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering with all above criteria’s.
Experience:
- 8-10 years in test Equipment’s, Assembly Line Automation in a manufacturing organization like CNC machines, automated heavy machines, service /maintenance of CNC machines or specialized automated machinery.
