Your Opportunity
As a Hardware Test Engineer, you are at the heart of innovation, where ideas are transformed into tangible, high-performance products. This role offers a unique opportunity to work hands-on with cutting-edge technology, support the development of next-generation hardware, and directly contribute to the success of engineering teams.
Roles and Responsibility
- Set up, configure, and maintain lab equipment including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power supplies, and test benches.
- Support hardware engineers in prototype assembly, board bring-up, and debugging.
- Manage lab inventory: components, tools, test equipment, and consumables.
- Ensure lab safety compliance and enforce best practices for ESD and equipment handling.
- Maintain documentation for lab procedures, equipment calibration, and test setups.
- Assist in PCB rework, soldering (SMT and through-hole), and basic mechanical assembly.
- Coordinate with vendors for equipment servicing, calibration, and procurement.
- Support automated test setups and data collection for validation and verification.
- Troubleshoot hardware issues and provide first-level support to engineering teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a hardware lab or electronics testing environment.
- Proficiency with lab instruments and basic electronics troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with soldering and rework of PCBs.
- Familiarity with ESD safety standards and lab best practices.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience with scripting (Python, Bash) for test automation.
- Knowledge of PCB design tools (e.g., Altium, KiCad) and version control systems.
- Familiarity with high speed board embedded systems and microcontroller platforms, server, rack installations
- IPC certification for soldering and rework (optional but a plus)
- Knowledge about linux (Optinal)
