Primary Responsibilities:

Work with Buyers, System Project Managers (PMs), Materials Project Managers (MPMs), Pre-Stock Quality Inspection (PSQI), Planning, Engineering, Program Management and Production to ensure material requirements are communicated correctly based on changing priorities to help scale efficiencies in supply line.

  • Daily management of Roll up Report for Production meetings and Business United (BU) Material Requirement meetings.
  • Shortage Snapshot on System tools and Non- System Orders (NSOs)
  • Identify and escalate Critical shortages, provide history and reasons, and provide current up to date status to System PMs, BU stakeholders and Ops PMs via email and NSO meetings.
  • Involve and assist SCLA, AUS, and SGP Buyers regarding prioritization of Purchase Orders (POs) and cross Org Inventory availability. Escalations handled by NPI PM
  • Assist Pre- Stock Quality Inspection (PSQI) team with prioritizing parts to be inspected based upon System and Non- System schedules.
  • Return to Stock (RTS) Engineer owned expense inventory.  Fill out Return to Stock (RTS) form for Engineering BU approval and signature.
  • Instruct Logistics on material movement and Discreet Job (DJ) allocation of material with Planner approval.
  • Create Customer Service Request (CSR) / ZRWRK for engineering lab after making sure we don’t compromise system and Non- System Orders (NSO) demand.
  • Highlight/Identify BU allocation when there are allocation parts between Austin & SCLA.  Escalations handled by NPI PM
  • Requests expedite Material receipt.
  • Create CSRs to prioritize PO receipt.
  • Review SCLA Buyers Hot List comments
  • Approve expedite fees within $500 limit.
  • Chair Material Task Force for Key Projects with CBM’s, MPM, Buyers/Buyer Managements
