Role Summary
The Technical Program Manager (TPM) is responsible for driving CABC projects, including TND lifecycle, BOM validation, and change management activities. This role ensures alignment across engineering, manufacturing, CE and PLM teams while maintaining compliance with internal standards and processes.
Key Responsibilities
TND & Configuration Management
- Identify opportunities for TND (Technical Node Definition) creation and define scope based on business and engineering requirements.
- Create, manage, and maintain TNDs using UG NX and Teamcenter, ensuring compliance with MLO standards.
- Own end-to-end TND lifecycle, including issue resolution and continuous improvement.
BOM & Validation
- Create and validate COBS (Configurable BOMs) using SAP VC.
- Perform TND validation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with defined specifications.
- Drive resolution of discrepancies across configuration, BOM, and validation outputs.
Change & Project Management
- Create and manage Projects and PCRs (Process Change Requests) as part of Manufacturing Engineering responsibilities.
- Support and manage ECRs (Engineering Change Requests) and ESWs (Engineering Service Work Orders).
- Ensure timely execution of change management activities with minimal impact to downstream systems.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Provide CABC (Change Analysis & Business Case) impact analysis and recommend solutions.
- Partner with NPME, EC Engineering, PLM, BM, BMO, and other cross-functional teams to drive alignment and execution.
- Act as a central point of contact for configuration-related issues and escalations.
Issue Resolution & Continuous Improvement
- Analyze and resolve issues related to TNDs, BOMs, and associated systems.
- Identify process gaps and drive long-term improvements in validation and configuration workflows.
- Ensure short term and long term changes are addressed accurately and timely.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong expertise in UG NX, Teamcenter, and SAP VC.
- Solid understanding of AMAT processes like BOM release, BOM structures, and configuration management processes.
- Experience in change management processes (ECR, PCR, ESW).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proven ability to work across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Qualifications & Experience:
- BE / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- 5–7 years of experience in a Production Planning, Manufacturing, or Engineering environment, with exposure to BOM management and ERP systems.
