Overview

As a Customer Engineer (m/w/d) – Halbleiterfertigung, you'll serve as Applied’s direct liaison with our customers and quickly solve high-value problems on their behalf. By collaborating closely with our customers onsite to install, maintain, and upgrade Applied Materials equipment, and with our internal teams to improve business processes, you’ll make a significant impact on ensuring peak performance and deliver exceptional service, while becoming an integral part of Applied Materials' dynamic field team.

We empower our Customer Engineer (m/w/d) – Halbleiterfertigung through comprehensive on-the-job training and the use of advanced digital tools and immersive technology, including Augmented Reality (AR) to support the systems and processes that underpin everyday semiconductor chip production.

Customer Engineer (m/w/d) – Halbleiterfertigung

Deine Aufgaben:

  • Wartung, Instandhaltung und elektrotechnische Montage von Hightech-Anlagen zur Halbleiterfertigung

  • Technische Fehleranalyse und -behebung unter Reinraumbedingungen

  • Durchführung von präventiven und korrektiven Maßnahmen zur Sicherstellung der Anlagenverfügbarkeit

  • Zusammenarbeit mit Kunden und internen Teams zur Lösung technischer Herausforderungen

  • Dokumentation der durchgeführten Arbeiten gemäß Qualitäts- und Sicherheitsstandards

Das bringst du mit:

  • Abgeschlossene technische Ausbildung oder Studium (z. B. Mechatronik, Elektrotechnik, Maschinenbau)

  • Erfahrung im technischen Service oder in der Montage von Industrieanlagen von Vorteil

  • Gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift

  • Bereitschaft zur Schichtarbeit und zur Arbeit unter Reinraumbedingungen

  • Handwerkliches Geschick und sicherer Umgang mit technischen Zeichnungen und Werkzeugen
