Key Responsibilities

  • Understand and manage quality issues / escalations reported at assigned customers locations by either customer or AMAT customer account personnel.
  • Accept ownership of failure analysis requests and drive appropriate actions including implementation of improvements to build, test and inspection processes to avoid future non-conformances as applicable.
  • Prepare formal reports for customers and AMAT field personnel that communicate findings and corrective action taken to address the reported part quality issues.
  • Evaluate, disposition and process material returned to the factory from customers and AMAT field personnel.
  • Initiate and drive inspection / purge of non-conforming material located in the AMAT field material distribution network as required.
  • Evaluate, disposition and process customer owned material returned for evaluation and / or repair as required.
  • Work with other Implant BU Quality Engineers, Technicians and Inspectors along with supplier personnel or Implant BU manufacturing personnel to improve the quality of assemblies and components produced by the Implant BU.
  • Develop and apply quality standards in accordance with company and customer requirements.
  • Design and implement methods and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and / or production equipment.
  • Develop methods and parameters, project methodology and / or project proposals.
  • Develop and use procedures.  Prepare documentation for inspection / testing procedures. Recommend corrective action for procedural, product, or process deficiencies.
  • Analyze operational data; Develop and implement recommendations.
  • Evaluates work methods, procedures and policies. Track progress of qualification status, review reliability test results and determine disposition of non-compliant products.
  • Utilize drawings, specifications, industry standards, and sketches, adapting inspection measuring devices and procedures when necessary. Read and interpret technical drawings and specification requirements.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technical Field

U.S. Salary Range:

$120,000.00 - $159,500.00

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.

For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
