What You’ll Do

As aSystems Engineer, you’ll be designing, integrating, and optimizing complex systems that drive the semiconductor industry forward. Your expertise in systems thinking and problem-solving will be essential as you collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop advanced solutions to intricate processes. You’llbe responsible foranalyzing requirements, defining system architectures, conducting thorough testing, and ensuring seamless integration of subsystems. Additionally, you’llidentify and mitigate risks, ensuring that our systems meet the highest quality standards and exceed customer expectations.

Role Responsibilities:

Write portions of the system engineering specification pertaining to field of technical expertise

Work on system engineering projects that have a substantial mix of electrical, mechanical, physics, algorithms and software design utilizingexpertise in technical area of specialty

Perform tests and provide feedback to product engineering and software on new designs and ongoing engineering improvements

Identify and troubleshoot engineering problems in field of technical expertise, including serviceability and manufacturability.

Work with System Integration during the assembly and final testing of all products

Assure that all new designs of hardware and software meet market requirement specifications and are reliable, safe, user friendly and maintainable by the field

Review all external equipment interfaces, analyze architecture ideas, and ensure they are up to date and documented

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree
Minimum of 6 years experience as a system design engineer
Must have knowledge and understanding of equipment/tools in the semiconductor industry
Design or modify electrical/electronic engineering assemblies, layouts/schematics and/or detailed drawings/specifications for control systems.
Design experience with control architecture design with system level knowledge, integration and testing. Expertise in overall control architecture, including remote I/O distribution (Ether cat, Device Net), Analog and Digital control, Motion control etc.
Proficiency in software like AUTO CAD, TWIN CAT etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

Testing hardware prototypes, troubleshooting, generating failure reports, and suggesting/doing the repairs/modifications to the boards on a system level.
Creating documentation on the design of system and integration.
Communicating with other engineers to coordinate efforts on projects.
Technically lead and/or execute engineering projects, including development of key suppliers
Problem identification and troubleshooting a wide range of complex electrical problems with limited to no supervision.
Specify the development of design or modify engineering assemblies, layout/schematics and/or detailed drawings/specifications of complex scope.
Interfaces with internal and external customers regarding complex electrical issues for specific projects.
Implement concepts for wide range of complex product issues and solutions.
Generate product specifications with limited to no supervision.
Specify and/or perform engineering analysis of complex scope.
Define, coordinate, perform and generate engineering test reports.

U.S. Salary Range:

$120,000.00 - $165,000.00

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.

For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
