As a Buyer, you’ll be responsible for purchasing the materials, supplies, machinery, and services that equip our state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities. You’ll collaborate across teams and showcase your organization and strategic planning skills to monitor inventory, manage delivery scheduling, negotiate with suppliers, and procure essential items that transform possibilities into realities for our customers and teams.Role Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end procurement of materials and services supporting AMAT direct business operations.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to understand supply chain requirements and ensure alignment with corporate procurement policies.
- Source, evaluate, and contract qualified vendors in compliance with company procurement standards.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials and services to meet operational needs and minimize delays.
- Monitor supplier performance, address issues proactively, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage purchase orders, pricing, and contract terms to ensure cost competitiveness and operational efficiency.
- Support risk management activities related to labor supply, compliance, and supplier sustainability.
- Coordinate with global and regional procurement teams to align sourcing strategies and share best practices.
- Ensure supply continuity to support manufacturing with speed, quality, and reliability.
- Execute and manage pull-ins and push-outs with suppliers to meet MRP demand requirements.
- Lead or actively engage in cross-functional teams to resolve supply issues and drive collaborative problem‑solving with key stakeholders
- Manage assigned purchasing projects, including cost, schedule, and scope.
- Handle complex and sensitive information when engaging with supplier leadership and internal teams.
- Contribute to procurement process improvements and act as a trainer for department-level purchasing activities.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities
- Proficient communication skills in both English and Korean
