As a Manager III in SPG, you will lead a team of Process Support Engineers (PSEs) focused on MDP technologies. This role is critical to enabling advanced logic device manufacturing through process optimization, customer collaboration, and equipment performance enhancement. You will work closely with leading-edge customers and internal engineering teams to drive innovation and ensure successful technology adoption.
Key Responsibilities
Customer & Technology Engagement
- Partner with TSMC to understand their technology roadmap and identify opportunities for MDP process integration.
- Support customer evaluations, joint development programs, and new tool qualifications to accelerate technology adoption.
- Act as a technical interface between customers and internal business units, ensuring alignment of solutions with customer needs.
Team & Operational Management
- Lead a team of PSEs responsible for on-site system installation, troubleshooting, and process support.
- Ensure operational excellence through quality checks, customer training, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage team development through training, certification, and performance coaching.
- Contribute to demand planning and business forecasting to support strategic goals.
Technical Analysis & Problem Solving
- Design and execute experiments (DOE), analyze data statistically, and deliver technical reports with actionable insights.
- Resolve complex process issues using structured root cause analysis and innovative problem-solving approaches.
- Recommend process enhancements based on industry best practices and customer feedback.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Chemistry, Physics, Materials Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Optoelectronics, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in semiconductor process or equipment engineering, experience in customer-facing roles and cross-functional collaboration is a must.
- Strong technical background in MDP or related deposition technologies.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing small teams or technical projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in English.
