What You’ll Do

As a Process Support Engineer (PSE), you’ll play a key role in guiding products through the entire lifecycle, from initial concept to final qualification. As a PSE, you will optimize product recipes to ensure peak performance tailored to our customer’s needs. You will collaborate with our globally recognized R&D teams and work directly with customers in their fabrication facilities to create cutting-edge solutions.

Role Responsibilities: 

  • Draw from your specialized expertise to provide high-visibility customer support through on-site installations, system diagnoses, and the service and repair of complex systems and equipment  
  • Work closely with the customer to develop leading-edge processes to manufacture the most advanced semiconductor chip, with equipment optimized to their needs  
  • Create hypothesis experiments and design of experiments (DOE); analyze data with statistics; and compile reports with high-level conclusions on technically challenging process engineering experiments  
  • Troubleshoot complex problems; perform multiple root cause analysis; and resolve a variety of difficult process engineering and customer product issues   
  • Communicate with both internal stakeholders and the customer to achieve goals with a focus on building relationships and establishing trust  
  • Apply your extensive knowledge of best practices to identify innovative solutions    
  • Serve as a resource for junior colleagues and a liaison between the customer and business unit; you may also lead functional teams or projects  

    Qualifications:

    • Master’s degree or PhD in chemistry/ physics, materials engineering, electrical engineering, optoelectronics or related field .
    • Above 10 years of experience in the semiconductor fab or equipment industry, with a minimum of 5 years specializing in PVD technology. Experience in advanced packaging PVD and related process flows is a strong plus.
    • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage projects effectively. Strong English communication skills with the ability to explain complex ideas and collaborate across internal and external stakeholders.
