Position Summary
This Senior Business Operations Specialist is a strategic, business‑critical position accountable for converting customer demand into executable orders and delivering predictable revenue outcomes, while ensuring commercial integrity and compliance.
As a senior partner, you will work closely with Sales, Finance, Legal, Manufacturing, and Logistics to navigate complex order structures, assess risks, and drive informed decisions. You will have full ownership of the end‑to‑end order lifecycle for semiconductor capital equipment, balancing customer commitments, operational feasibility, and revenue impact to deliver a best‑in‑class customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage the end‑to‑end order management process, from forecast and order creation to shipment, billing, and revenue recognition.
- Partner closely with Sales to support opportunities, quotations, and customer orders.
- Work cross‑functionally with Finance, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Legal to ensure customer commitments are met.
- Maintain accurate forecasts and order data in ERP systems and customer portals.
- Handle customer inquiries and issues independently and drive timely resolution.
- Ensure orders and shipments comply with contract, tax, trade, and internal policy requirements.
- Coordinate global shipment readiness to support on‑time delivery and revenue realization.
- Ensure required documentation is complete and audit‑ready.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and ways of working.
Requirements
- Experience in order management, sales operations, customer operations, or sales support, preferably in semiconductor, manufacturing, or high‑tech industries.
- Strong business mindset with understanding of how orders, logistics, and revenue are connected.
- Experience working with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
- Ability to manage complex orders and multiple stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, while understanding the bigger business picture.
- Good communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally.
- Proactive, independent, and comfortable taking ownership and responsibility.
