We have an exciting opportunity for a technician to join our Applied Materials team in Netherlands.
This is a permanent, full-time role, which is located out of our site in Nijmegen.
Your tasks and responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance within established timeframes.
- Tasks will be performed with written procedures, which need to be followed step by step.
- Disassemble, clean and rebuild kits as part of kit management quality
- Learn and apply diagnostic techniques and use of documentation and test equipment with assistance from senior engineers.
- Diagnose and resolve basic technical problems.
- Assist with standard procedures such as wafer measurement.
- Comply with all safety procedures and consistently demonstrates safety as a value.
Requirements:
- Qualification from disciplines including Mechanical / Mechatronic / Electrical / Electronic Engineering /Science
- Education level associate degree (Dutch level: Minimum MBO technic on WEB 4 level / Bachelor or equivalent)
- Experience of practical hands-on work exposure (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic).
- Previous experience or knowledge in the Semiconductor industry and/or Applied Materials PVD/CVD/Etch or RTP tools would be an advantage but not essential.
- Very good communication skills - both written and verbal in English. Knowledge of Dutch an advantage.
- Good data analysis and problem-solving skills
- You are a good team player.
- You are flexible and like to work in shifts (5 shift pattern). Two mornings, two afternoons, two night shifts with four days free in between.
