We are looking for an Algorithm Developer to develop new and innovative image processing features for our SEM inspection platform

What will you be doing?

  • Concept and feasibility tests: Research to find new directions; design of experiments; run hands-on experiments; perform data analysis; algorithm development; present recommendation to management; support the transition from concept to product

  • Improve algorithms: Analyze algorithmic unexpected behaviors, conduct experiments and come up with solution proposals

  • Collaborate with other disciplines on algo / image processing related activities

  • Stay current with advancements in computer vision and machine learning

What you should have?

  • Education: MSc. or PhD. in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

  • Experience: At least 2 years in image processing algorithm development

  • Algorithms: Proficiency in classical computer vision, deep learning, supervised and unsupervised approaches, strong statistical background

  • Software: Good Python development skills, knowledge in relevant libraries (Pytorch, SciPy, SKLearn etc.).

  • Excellent English

  • Willingness to travel - 10%

  • Can convert idea / problem statement to experiment plan and analyze results

  • Able to explain complex topics in a simple manner
