The DevOps Manager will lead a specialized group responsible for core DevOps infrastructure and operational excellence. This role ensures the reliability, scalability, and security of systems that support development, deployment, and production environments. The team owns critical platforms and services, including artifact management, source control, CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure and FinOps practices.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management
Lead and mentor the DevOps team, fostering collaboration and technical excellence.
Define priorities and ensure timely delivery of infrastructure and automation projects.
Core Platform Ownership
Manage and maintain Artifactory for artifact storage and Bitbucket (BB) for source control.
Oversee Azure DevOps (ADO) for CI/CD pipelines and work item tracking.
Cloud Infrastructure & FinOps
Ensure reliability, scalability, and security of cloud environments.
Implement FinOps practices to optimize cloud costs and resource utilization.
Pipeline Development & Automation
Design, develop, and maintain advanced CI/CD pipelines for multiple products.
Drive automation initiatives to reduce manual processes and accelerate delivery.
Production Support
Oversee Quest production environments, ensuring uptime, performance, and compliance.
Implement monitoring, alerting, and incident response strategies for critical systems.
Governance & Best Practices
Enforce security, compliance, and operational standards across all DevOps activities.
Collaborate with development and product teams to streamline workflows.
Required Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer ScienceExperience:
15+ years in DevOps/Development roles, with at least 5 years in leadership.
Hands-on experience with Artifactory, Bitbucket, Azure DevOps, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
Background in corporate environments, demonstrating ability to navigate organizational processes and standards.
Track record of handling complex situations and managerial challenges, with strong problem-solving and leadership skills.
Experience working in Agile
Skills:
Strong knowledge of CI/CD, Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform/Ansible), containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
Experience in development & scripting languages (Bash , Python etc)
Expertise in cost optimization and cloud financial management.
Experience with large-scale production environments and high-availability systems.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to lead organizational change and drive mindset transformation
