As a Mechanical Engineer, you’ll leverage your strong foundation in physics, mathematics, and materials science to process and resolve mechanical problems, design and implement custom mechanical tooling and associated processes, and enable the handling, assembly, and disassembly of parts, components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies throughout the product life cycle. You'll be responsible for designing, developing, and modifying mechanical engineering layouts, schematics, and specifications. You will oversee manufacturing and installation processes, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations-- and you'll coordinate the procurement and assembly of mechanical components and equipment for design projects, identifying sources of critical parts and subsystems to resolve technical issues.

Job Description: Mechanical Engineer

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer with a strong experience of mechanical design and with analytical/problem solving skills. An innovation driven person with ability to look beyond the common practice.

Our group:

Hardware R&D group in charge of the development of complex machines performing optical and electron microscopy. Our tools are used for inspection of semiconductors wafers during the fabrication process of microchips.

What you'll be doing?

  • Technology leader - You will bring new technologies to our tools.
  • Analyze and understand the correlation of different mechanical/physical phenomena on our tool behavior, it’s a big advantage to have strong theoretical background in some of the following area: system dynamics, vibration, Acoustics, CFD / heat transfer.
  • Participates in R&D design Mech. team which responsible for the design of diagnostic and control systems of the Semiconductors manufacturers.
  • Support product cycle from R&D phase through detailed design, production, assembly & integration, testing and release for serial production.

What should you have?

  • Bsc Mechanical Engineer or higher ( MSc / Ph.D).
  • Mechanical engineer with background in mechanism design
  • 5 years experienced in relevant Mechanical and analytical work.
  • Experienced with design and analysis S/W (Solid works, Ansys, acoustic simulation & PLM).
  • Innovation driven person with ability to look beyond the common practice.
  • Experienced in the semiconductors industry – advantage.
