Job Summary
As a CBM Level 3 within the Global Sourcing and Procurement team, you will support sourcing initiatives, contract and supplier management for a stable portfolio of construction-related suppliers. This role requires regular on-site presence to engage directly with stakeholders, build strong relationships, and develop a deep understanding of their business needs and priorities. You will apply your expertise to solve complex sourcing challenges, contribute to supplier strategies, and help drive value across day-to-day technical infrastructure construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the execution of technical infrastructure construction strategies for assigned services and materials, ensuring alignment with business goals and project timelines.
- Manage strategic sourcing processes including RFI/RFP development, supplier evaluation, negotiation, and contracting.
- Engage face-to-face with internal stakeholders (Engineering, Facilities, Finance, Legal, etc.) to understand project requirements, business priorities, and sourcing needs.
- Build and maintain supplier relationships to ensure performance, innovation, continuous improvement and prompt issue resolution.
- Monitor market trends, cost drivers, and risk factors to inform sourcing decisions and mitigate supply chain disruptions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and confidentiality requirements.
- Contribute to cost savings, value creation, and operational efficiency.
- Document all phases of sourcing and procurement activities and ensure knowledge transfer across functional teams.
Qualifications & Expertise
- Demonstrated depth in strategic sourcing within construction and related services, including labor, materials, and technical infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of construction execution and the unique challenges of sourcing in highly complex technical R&D construction environments.
- Proven ability to interpret complex business challenges and recommend best practices.
- Experience supporting cross-functional sourcing projects with moderate to high complexity.
- Skilled in contract negotiation, supplier performance management, and risk mitigation.
- Ability to solve first-generation problems—those without established guidance or precedent—by applying analytical thinking, creativity, and sound judgment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to influence and collaborate across functions and in-person settings.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 7+ years of relevant experience in sourcing, procurement, or category management, with a focus on construction and technical services.

$101,000.00 - $139,000.00The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.
For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
