As an Electrical Engineer, you are responsible for designing, modifying, and troubleshooting electrical or electronic engineering assemblies, layouts, schematics, and drawings to advance the equipment that supports our technology. Using your technical experience and critical thinking skills, you will perform engineering analysis, generate test reports, develop innovative solutions, and create documentation for product releases. You will also coordinate the procurement and assembly of components, identify sources of critical parts, and resolve technical issues to ensure peak performance.Role Responsibilities:
Designs, develops, modifies and evaluates schematics, components and processes used in the generation, manipulation, transmission and storage of electricity
Analyzes equipment to establish operating constrains, conducts experimental tests and evaluates results
Design Electro-mechanical subsystems and systems for instrumentation, power and motion control system applications. Ability to design analog/digital circuits, control circuits, power supplies, motion control data acquisition, and designing for EMC considerations.
Strong Knowledge and proficiency in electrical engineering and operation of devices and sensors such as: thermocouples, electric actuators, motors, heaters, pressure sensors, pressure controllers, flow controllers
Collaborate with systems, software, electrical and mechanical engineers to develop and implement hardware/ firmware requirements
Selects components and equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliability
Completes documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance
Strong working knowledge of EtherCAT bus system with PLCs
Robust knowledge of motion controls, close-loop temperature controls
Hands-on experience in electronic circuit design (analog, digital), development, troubleshooting and validation
Strong ability to manage tasks and projects independently with extreme urgency
Proficient with basic computer programs: MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio
Experience with CAD programs: Zuken E3S, PCAD, OrCAD, and/or AutoCAD or other schematic capture software
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
Capability to work effectively in a team environment
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
7-10 years of experience in a related field
Preferred Qualifications:
Hands on experience with Beckhoff, Allen-Bradley, Pilz automation PLC
Expert level troubleshooting of complex electro-mechanical systems
Good understanding of the safety requirements/ regulatory compliance (e.g. SEMI S2, S14, S22, NFPA79, EMI/ EMC etc.)
Interest and experience in power distribution and control system design of complex systems
Proven leadership and business acumen skills
Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
Experience with LabView, C, C++, Python, etc., Teamcenter, Inventor, NX, SMARTSHEET

YesThe salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.
For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
