Job Description Summary: Recognized as an expert within the company. Anticipates internal and or external business challenges and/or regulatory issues; recommends process, product, or service improvements. Solves unique and complex problems that have a broad impact on the business. Contributes to the development of functional strategy. Leads project teams to achieve milestones and objectives. Progression to this level is typically restricted on the basis of business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as an interface to the COE, GEL, HRBPs and non-HR functional departments to appropriately and effectively escalate and/or redirect inquiries/concerns and liaison.
  • Manage assigned end to end Employee Relations case management & investigations from intake through interview, transition, escalation, and redirection or closure.  Maintains accurate & timely case files and documentation.
  • Handle complex or escalated investigations related to retaliation, harassment, discrimination, etc.
  • Provide advice and counsel to HRBPs to help them address issues with employees and managers. Provide advice and guidance to managers to address employee performance and conduct issues.
  • Provide guidance on the interpretation and administration of company policies and procedures.  If the outcome of an investigation results in a finding, provide guidance and review of corrective actions, and  including recommendations for termination, in line with company values and behaviors
  • Contribute to internal projects and workstreams as needed. Identify and recommend methods to resolve problems, update, simplify, enhance and optimize existing processes, procedures, policies and technologies. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to ensure that all services are effectively understood and delivered promptly.
  • In partnership with GEL, provide training, technical support and guidance on specialized processes to HR and managers.
  • Recommend and/or maintain metrics on case resolutions, customer satisfaction, individual performance, closure/call-time and development rates, issuing reports on performance success and case management. Tracks and analyzes data, identifies trends and makes recommendations for organizational improvements

Knowledge:

  • Solid working knowledge of the principles and practices of employee relations and HR Compliance including AAP/EEO, ADA and I9
  • In-depth knowledge and application of labor and employment laws and regulations

Experience:

  • 3+ years employee relations experience with experience as a human resources business partner helpful
  • Prior experience with a global HR or employee relations especially with European Works Councils
  • Demonstrated experience leading a variety of employee investigations with little supervision.

U.S. Salary Range:

$163,000.00 - $224,000.00

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.

For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
