Position Overview

Seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Engineering Technician III to perform moderately complex electro-mechanical functions in a dynamic lab environment as a full-time on-site role. This position will focus on supporting the NetZero goals for the Labs in SCLA. In this role, person will be responsible for maintaining Sustainability products that reduce energy/utilities/emissions, ensuring optimal performance through operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and system upgrades.              

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation of Energy Savings and Emissions Reduction Products:

    • Coordinate with respective BU Lab ops for facility readiness.

    • Provided feedback to PFR/FSR.

    • Attend design reviews to ensure all the requirements are documented and executed.

  • Maintenance and Troubleshooting:

    • Daily monitoring of Energy Savings and Emissions Reduction Products for functionality

    • Resolve issues timely to improve uptime

    • Maintain record of all the issues and resolution for future reference

  • Preventive maintenance

    • Maintain log of all the units

    • Prepare PM schedule and maintain log of all the activities

    • Work with cross functional team to ensure PM is done on time

  • Savings Monitoring:

    • Report out the energy savings and emissions data as requested by management

    • Ensure that both energy savings and emissions data is accurate and consistent day-to-day

  • Technical Documentation and collaboration:

    • Interpret schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation to conduct testing and troubleshooting.

    • Collaborate closely with design engineers for feature qualification and suggest improvements as needed

    • Maintain accurate logbooks and develop or revise departmental procedures.

    • Support process development by performing rework and identifying corrective actions for equipment malfunctions.

Additional Requirements

  • Ability to work in independently and take ownership of the products.

  • Comfortable working in environments with noise, confined spaces, and cleanroom protocols.

  • Proficient in the use of hand and power tools, implementing LOTO procedures.

  • Observes all safety standards. Maintains a secure, safe, clean and healthy work environment.  

  • Attends required health and safety training and follows safety and security policies, procedures and practices.  

  • Promptly reports accidents, injuries, safety hazards, or emergencies to supervisor or Safety dept.  

  • Follows operating instructions, uses protective equipment when required, and uses equipment and materials properly.  

  • Actively strives to prevent accidents and injuries.

  • Ability to extended hours based on customer needs.

Qualifications

  • Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant technical field. Or relevant work experience in place of a degree.

  • Experience: 2–4 years of hands-on experience in electro-mechanical systems, preferably in a semiconductor or high-tech environment.

U.S. Salary Range:

$29.00 - $39.60

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.

For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
