Role
We are seeking a visionary IT executive to lead digital transformation for three of our corporate functions (HR, Finance and Trade) and report to the VP of Digital Solutions & Innovations within IT. This role is critical to our continued growth and success, requiring a leader who can balance strategic vision with hands-on execution. The ideal candidate will partner with senior business executives in those pillars as well as various IT functions to develop a roadmap and drive digital transformation. This role will have seasoned solution architects and a strong list of IT vendors to leverage into designing future proof solutions to drive productivity, velocity and scale
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and lead a team of over 80+ full time employees distributed across the globe
- Oversee IT business relationship management with CFO and his staff, CHRO and her staff as well as head of global trade and her staff
- Partner with business functions to develop a 3-5 year digital transformation roadmap and oversee execution and value capture
- Oversee >$30M annual IT spend across the three pillars for project execution, subscription and application support costs
- Develop and maintain relationships with strategic IT solution providers to keep abreast of industry technology trends and developments and bring solutions to business partners.
- Lead a team of solution architects and established vendors to design IT solutions for productivity, velocity and scale
- Play a key role in Applied journey to digitally transform business across the enterprise leveraging SAP S4. Responsibilities here will include developing business case, defining end state architecture, assembling execution team, overseeing the execution across Finance and Trade and stabilization.
- Oversee the prioritization, slotting and execution of all IT demands across the three pillars and integrate with the annual strategy process
- Transform the three organizations from a project mindset to a product mindset with clear understanding of IT cost, value drivers and roadmap defined for each product
- Manage strategic relations with vendors for contingent workforce on delivery and overall performance. Works with Applied resource management group to identify gaps and opportunities and recommend improvements
Skills, Knowledge, Experience & Education

The ideal candidate will have the following:
- BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred)
- Minimum 15 years of IT experience, with at least 10 years in business facing, digital transformation or related roles
- Proven experience in defining, designing and architecting business IT solutions for large and complex org’s
- Excellent communication, leadership, strategic thinking and stakeholder management skills
- Exceptional ability to absorb and handle stress.
- Process oriented while also strongly developing and relying on interpersonal relationships across the company
- Ability to distinguish between and prioritizing urgent and important issues
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic and global environment
- Hands on or leadership experience with SAP or other ERP migrations is a plus

$224,000.00 - $308,000.00The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.
For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
