WhatYou’llDo
As a Process Engineer,you'llplay a critical role in solving our customers’ biggest challenges by designing andoptimizingdisplay andsemiconductor manufacturing processes. You will work on some of the most advanced and challenging technologies in the world, shaping the way process engineering evolves for our business and the semiconductor industry.Process Engineers at Applied enjoya diverseand exciting work experience—no two days are thesameand the challenges are complex and interesting. You willexperiment, learn, and collaborate with some of the brightest minds in the semiconductorand displayindustries, partnering with our globally recognized R&D teams onstate-of-the-artresearch and development projects.
Role Responsibilities:
Design, collect data, analyze, and compile reports ondifficultprocessengineering experiments
Perform hardware characterization ona variety ofdifficultsystems
Troubleshootcomplexproblems, perform Root Cause Analysis, and resolvea variety ofdifficultprocessengineering issues
Measure film properties andinterpret data
Generate internal documentation for products, presentations, and technical reports
Communicate and engagewith customers to resolvecomplexprocess engineering issuesor concerns,underlimitedsupervision
Identify, select, and partnerwith vendorsand suppliers
Implementnew technology, products, and analytical instrumentation
Serve as a resource for junior colleagues; leadprojectteams,as needed
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field
4-7yearsof related experience
Demonstratesconceptual and practicalexpertisein complex problem solving

YesU.S. Salary Range:
$124,000.00 - $171,000.00The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.
For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
