Job Description Summary
The BU CFO oversees financial operations and helps to drive strategic decision making for the business unit. They lead the finance team responsible for pricing, profitability and portfolio optimization as well as ensuring that finance policies and accounting controls are in compliance. Provides leadership and direction through finance, managers, and domain leads. Executes segment/functional business plans and contributes to the development of segment/functional strategy. Decisions are guided by segment/functional strategy and priorities. Directs and controls the activities of a broad functional area.
CFO Key Responsibilities
Business partner to the business unit executive team, providing insightful analysis & recommendations and decision support to achieve strategic goals
Influence business partners to execute efficient business processes and deliver strong operational results and profitability of the business unit
Drive business and financial objectives tied to performance metrics, continuous improvement projects and cost efficiency initiatives
Deep engagement across order fulfillment cycle, including pricing strategies and understanding of supply bottlenecks. Provide scenario analysis support to ensure optimal decisions are made, balancing revenue, margin, and cash expectations
Deep engagement in both Organic (New product development) and Inorganic (Partnerships, Alliances & M&A) programs
Ensure Business Unit inventory and capex requirements are optimized to support strategic initiatives and deliver expected financial performance
Lead preparation of the annual operating plan, long-term financial plan, quarterly forecast and quarter-end financial reporting for revenue, gross margin, opex & balance sheet
Devise & implement BU portfolio & review process, driving consistency across the KPU’s, providing a framework for the GM to prioritize investments based on ROI metrics
Ensure PLC programs and investments are aligned with long-term strategic growth and profitability commitments. Challenge assumptions and business cases for new PLC programs, JDA’s, New Partnerships, ensure funding is based on milestones and appropriately funded and resourced.
Change leader who sets direction to Finance Directors and leads for Business execution initiatives and strategic changes that impact current business model
Create and support a culture of consistent and continuous communication and collaboration to drive high performance.
Make decisions and drive actions in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
Manage and mentor employees in a collaborative team culture and support broader finance employee development initiative

Excellent communication and writing skills, including strong ability to create and present executive level presentations, and the ability to translate and simplify complex information and explain it to non-finance audience
Capacity Building: experience and proven ability to effectively build organization and staff capacity, setting priorities, developing a high-caliber workforce and processes that ensure the organization runs smoothly.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire people across the organization to achieve results.
Self-starter with strong work ethic and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating priorities and deadlines; maintain financial cycle deliverables, identify change and drive items to closure with minimal management oversight.
M&A Experience
BS in Accounting or Finance
MBA or Advanced Degree Preferred
Strong preference given to candidates with prior or current BU CFO experience

$192,000.00 - $264,000.00The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.
For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
