TEAM OVERVIEW:

Our team focuses on developing and scaling AI, data analytics, and knowledge-driven solutions that improve troubleshooting, decision-making, and productivity within semiconductor manufacturing and customer support environments. We work across engineering, IT, AI/ML, and business teams to translate real-world customer and field challenges into scalable digital solutions.


The team collaborates with Customer Engineers, technical experts, AI researchers, IT organizations, and global stakeholders to drive initiatives spanning AI adoption, data automation, knowledge management, analytics, and global enablement.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


We are seeking a highly motivated Process Engineering Intern interested in applying data analytics, Artificial Intelligence, and advanced troubleshooting techniques to semiconductor manufacturing challenges. The intern will support FabVantage initiatives focused on improving process and equipment performance, defect troubleshooting, data-driven root cause analysis, and knowledge capture.


The intern will work with Customer Engineers, Process Engineers, technical experts, AI researchers, and IT teams to analyze manufacturing and equipment data, identify trends and potential root causes, and help translate engineering knowledge into scalable digital solutions. The role will also support AI adoption, data capture automation, and global deployment and training.


This opportunity provides hands-on exposure to semiconductor process engineering, equipment and defect analysis, advanced analytics, enterprise AI applications, and technical problem-solving in a global customer environment.


TECHNICAL SKILLS:

  • Experience with semiconductor/manufacturing data, equipment data, or defect analytics
  • Experience with Python, SQL, and data analysis tools such as Excel, Power BI, or Tableau

REQUIREMENTS/EDUCATION:

  • Masters Degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • GPA of 3.0 or above preferred

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.

For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
