Overview
As a AIX Field Service Engineer, you'll serve as Applied’s direct liaison with our customers and quickly solve high-value problems on their behalf. By collaborating closely with our customers onsite to install, maintain, and upgrade Applied Materials equipment, and with our internal teams to improve business processes, you’ll make a significant impact on ensuring peak performance and deliver exceptional service, while becoming an integral part of Applied Materials' dynamic field team.
We empower our AIX Field Service Engineer through comprehensive on-the-job training and the use of advanced digital tools and immersive technology, including Augmented Reality (AR) to support the systems and processes that underpin everyday semiconductor chip production.

Key Responsibilities
Continual improvement - Works on continual improvement projects for digital tool space
Communication - Internally Communicates complex information to others.
Troubleshooting - Provides guidance with troubleshooting gaining knowledge on issues and actions. Deployment, configuration, and propagation of DTs
Daily work - Maintains the FSS system, monitors alarms, propagates models, and adjusts model limits. Main point of contract for issue escalation at the site
Mentoring - Works with others on DT usage while gaining insite on tools, signals, and systems.
