Key Responsibilities

Industrial Engineering

  • Oversees methods and analysis including process run time, time and motion study, and leads continual improvement initiatives such as year-on-year tool productivity and cost reduction.
  • Oversees the strategic implementation of product introductions into volume manufacturing by developing factory space, capacity, tool layout for maximum line efficiency and capability solutions.  Develops the New products factory capability roadmap for multiple functions.  Is responsible for the development of specialized tooling solutions for the assembly, integration and intra-plant transport of modules, assemblies and mainframes.  
  • Oversees the development of the capacity/demand analysis business processes and ensures that capacity planning processes are deployed and maintained across multiple functions.  Oversees the capacity planning process and works with operations to ensure that capacity constraints are addressed prior to production ramp.  Oversees the development of manufacturing and logistics initiatives to improve factory asset utilization and production processes.
  • Ensures projects and programs within areas of responsibility are completed and implementation into business with quality tools, supporting processes and ongoing measures for success. Includes improved efficiency and cost savings.  Works across organizations to provide business case for Plan of Record and IE projects. Ensures cost analysis, and return on investment calculations associated with project meet annual operation plan and budget.

Supply Chain

  • Manage cross-functional, fully integrated planning process that incorporates make versus buy, capacity planning, scheduling, inventory, material and associated cost elements.
  • Performs analysis of customer demand, sales forecasts and historical material usage to develop and execute build to order and build to forecast plans.  Coordinate with cross-functional teams to develop best strategy for production planning to support customer demand.  Work closely with Inventory Management to meet customer contractual agreement.
  • Establishes and manages production scheduling activities by monitoring material inventories, tracking progress of production and reviewing factors that affect schedules.  Responsible for accuracy of inventory counts by implementing and managing, in conjunction with Finance, and inventory control system, capable of identifying discrepancies in inventory counts and taking corrective action to guard against inconsistencies in the future.
  • Manage a Logistics Team with overall responsibility for oversight of physical Inventory Control 
  • Implement Lean in-bound and out-bound transportation concepts in partnership with key suppliers, field support organization (FSO), key customers, and 3PLs. 
  • Manage Continual Improvement and Cost Reduction Projects as assigned.  
  • Ensure compliance and control to Quality Standards

  • Familiarity with semiconductor fabrication operations preferred.
  • Demonstrates comprehensive understanding of concepts and principles within own job family and knowledge of other related job families
