The intern will learn the day to day of a highly complex warehouse operations and its network.
And also take up key projects like below:
1. Just-In-Time Delivery Optimization
Analyze material movement patterns between Central Warehouse and manufacturing Point-of-Use (POU) locations.
Evaluate opportunities to enhance responsiveness while reducing inventory holding.
Develop recommendations to improve material flow efficiency.
2. Warehouse Capacity & Space Optimization
Support planning and execution of POU expansion initiatives.
Perform warehouse utilization and storage effectiveness analysis.
Recommend layout improvements to maximize space productivity.
3. Warehouse Process Transformation
Participate in central warehouse re-layout and process improvement projects.
Analyze operational workflows and identify bottlenecks.
Support implementation of productivity improvement initiatives.
4. Supply Chain Analytics & Problem Solving
Utilize operational dashboards and SAP data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
Conduct root-cause analysis on operational escalations.
Generate data-driven recommendations to improve performance.
5. Final Capstone Project
Lead an improvement project focused on warehouse efficiency, material flow optimization, or operational analytics.
Present findings and recommendations to site leadership at the end of the internship
