Job Summary
TheLogistics OperationEngineeris responsible forensuring the reliability, accuracy, and effectiveness of automated systems, maintenance processes, and operational assets. This role supports corrective and preventive maintenance activities, continuous improvement initiatives, reporting, and asset management through systems such as ServiceNow, Maximo, GIS, and OEE dashboards. The position plays a key role in minimizing downtime, improving system performance, and ensuring data integrity across maintenance operations.
Key Responsibilities
Corrective Maintenance
Monitor and review ServiceNow tickets related to automationon a daily basis.
Perform Level1 troubleshootingand resolve service tickets where possible.
Escalate unresolved issues and perform Level 2 troubleshooting until closure.
Support troubleshooting efforts for L3/L4 software and automation-related issues.
Collaborate with GIS teams to resolve defects related to GIS applications or software.
Monitor OEE dashboards toidentifydaily, weekly, and quarterly performance trends.
Investigate and analyze OEE discrepancies and system abnormalities.
Validate system performance after corrective actions to ensure stability, accuracy, and prevention of recurrence.
Preventive Maintenance
Conduct regular reviews of equipment maintenance lists to ensure preventive maintenance (PM) compliance.
Review andmaintainPM checklists and work instructions for accuracy and adherence.
Execute PM activities in Maximo,ensuringall required tasks are completed.
Accurately update PM status as “Completed” or “Incomplete,” including justification for any incomplete items.
Coordinate6Shousekeeping activities in partnership with the GIS team.
Continuous Improvement (CIP)
Identifyopportunities for improvement related to automation and maintenance processes.
Develop and propose CIP ideas and initiatives.
Align CIP improvements with Operational Excellence (Ops/IE), Applied Improvement, and 3PL partners.
Reporting & Documentation
Prepare weekly reports on maintenance activities, corrective actions, and recurring ServiceNow errors.
Maintain documentation, including updates to procedures and change management records when processes are revised.
Asset Management
Validate andmaintainasset inventory records, including serial numbers, locations, and mappings in Maximo or asset registers.
Ensure asset data accuracy and consistency across systems.
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in automation and maintenance systems
Experience with ServiceNow, Maximo, OEE dashboards, and GIS systems
Understanding of preventive and corrective maintenance processes
Ability to analyze operational data andidentifytrends
Strong documentation and reporting skills
Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
Attention to detail and commitment to process accuracy
Preferred Qualifications
Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Automation, Industrial Engineering, or related field
Experience inlogistics, manufacturing, or automated warehouse environments
Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies
- Sustain all automation devices in logistics area
- Co-Lead CIP for automation implementation partnering with IE team
