Key Responsibilities
Lead Global Forward Network Project assigned. Managed system enhancement, drive operation process alignment and central point for coordination between operation, stakeholders for timely cost effective delivery. Establish government, tracking, reporting to ensure measureable productivity gain in projects.

General Profile: Requires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise with compliance to hazardous materials management and transportation. Interprets internal or external business issues and recommends best practices. Solves complex problems; takes a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions. Works independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations. May lead functional teams or projects. Experience and training with the management of hazardous materials management and transportation is desired. The Role is Global in Scope.
Key Responsibilities
Interpret, analyze, and present metrics/KPIs to Management. Drive corrective actions with appropriate groups to improve metrics and address exceptions. Lead the design and implementation of new business processes regarding the Transportation and Storage of Hazardous Materials. Develop and drive process improvement projects to increase service level performance and/or minimize compliance risk and reduce costs. Project scope is moderate in complexity and has global impact; includes integration of processes with Outsourced Logistics Operations providers. Weekly review of process control exceptions that result in reported distribution quality non-conformance issues. Develop and document root cause and corrective actions, and work with outsourced and regional logistics partners to implement. Support the development of cost estimates and demand forecasts for logistics modeling and tracking relative to Hazardous Materials. Evaluate data against Internal/External audit requests and ensure completeness of data. Assist the Organization Audit Focal prepare for the internal/external audits. Prepares, reviews & approves files for the transportation and storage of hazardous materials. Documents such as SDS’s, Shipping Papers, and required Certifications. Audits and reviews, ensuring that documents are accurate in accordance with physical shipment and proper classifications, and other regulatory requirements. Administers compliant, efficient and economical movement of goods in compliance with relevant local, federal, country and international customs laws and processes. Lead small to mid-size operational task forces or projects. Coach, mentor and supervise Logistics team to implement the hazardous materials management systems to minimize the risks to employees’ customers and the environment. Under limited supervision, set up and maintenance of the hazardous materials systems to drive continuous improvements. Supervises or direct reports in their assigned activities with specific responsibility for staffing, technical leadership within the group, staff professional/managerial/ leadership skills and career development. Maintain communication channel with site/location functions. Under limited supervision, ensures proper investigations of non-conforming shipments / incidents conducted for transportation and warehouse events and drives root cause development and corrective actions. Under limited supervision, track and trend local hazardous materials legislation and take appropriate action to comply with requirements. Review and report compliance progress and performance for assigned site/function. Ensures compliance with required codes, standards and regulations.
