Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deploy custom software solutions for factory automation and control systems
Interface with industrial hardware such as sensors, actuators, NI DAQ, and PLCs using appropriate protocols (e.g., Modbus, OPC-UA)
Architect and implement systems that integrate real-time hardware controls with higher-level enterprise systems (e.g., MES)
Collaborate with manufacturing engineers and interns to support project execution, providing software expertise in solution design
Develop documentation, diagrams, and user guides for deployed systems
Assist in troubleshooting and sustaining deployed automation software
Requirements
Bachelor Degree in Engineering preferably in Electrical, Automation or Software
Hands-on experience integrating industrial hardware (e.g., NI hardware, sensors, PLCs) with custom software applications
Familiarity with MES systems and how to interface external software or hardware with enterprise IT systems
Experienced in various stakeholder management and project management
Resourceful and proactive individual
