Key Responsibilities
Ensures that specific project and program objectives are defined for areas of responsibility, and that necessary preliminary activities (e.g., determination of outcomes, milestones, viability studies, and resource planning, among others) are completed to allow for effectiveness and focus during later stages of completion.
Ensures that all projects and programs assigned are completed in accordance with predetermined requirements, with specific attention to product/process specifications, project/program costs, resource utilization, and timeliness for completion.
Ensures that all phases of project, program and/or process development are documented, and that information required in other functional areas is reported, disseminated, or transferred, as appropriate.
Ensures compliance with Company policies regarding Engineering/Lab notebooks, patents, confidentiality, and safety.
Ensures that the utilization of all material and financial resources is carried out in an effective manner.
Effectively work with other staff to maximize productivity for the project / program.
Business Unit point of contact with regards to inventory and warehouse optimization, tracking of days inventory outstanding targets and supply greater than demand mitigation.
Responsible for quarterly Inflow/Outflow submissions, management of receipts, FGI returns, Systems and NSOs MCOS outflow and other credit / debit projections.
Engage with supply chain planning, engineering, master scheduling and other stakeholders to ensure correct plan for every part is monitored and controlled.
Monitor weekly quality of receipts and provide corrective action to purchasing groups.
Complete weekly supply greater than demand root causes, mitigation, and reserves projections.
Prepare and present End of Quarter Sarbanes-Oxley audit to executive management.
Work with supply chain planning to close on the actioning of PO cancellations, internal material transfer amongst SPG and AGS sites, sellback, and rework purchase orders.
Conduct quarterly raw zero demand and aged cancelled wip scrap reviews with business unit stakeholders.
Prepare and present quarterly business inventory reviews, delegating and driving closure of action items.
Monitor New Products Introductions (NPI) watchlists, Engineering Change Requests (ECR), Engineering Specification Wavers (ESW) and Non-System Request (NSR) to ensure material demand and consumption cut over occurs with the least amount of customer and inventory impact.
Monitor Planning Independent Requirements (PIR) forecast due to customer and platform demand fluctuations due to business environment, alerting master scheduling of potential inventory and supply greater than demand impact.
Collaborate with AGS and SPG Business units outside of sites 4060/4070/4080 regarding surplus material consumption, both on hand and on order.
