Primary Responsibilities:

  • Oversee program transitions between different locations, ensuring a smooth transfer of programs.

  • Develop transition plans, define timelines and milestones, and coordinate with stakeholders.

  • Conduct technical assessments and ensure necessary resources are available for successful transitions.

  • Manage the entire manufacturing PDP specific tasks for NPI, including tactical build activities and driving specific tasks within the PDP.

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, ensure adherence to timelines, and meet PDP requirements.

  • Plan, execute, and evaluate readiness for managed, controlled, and validation builds for NPI projects.

  • Ensure material readiness, documentation completeness, resource availability, and appropriate tooling and floor space.

  • Drive overall manufacturing readiness assessment for new products.

  • Drive the technical issues to the resolution for the new products being developed.

  • Review technical specifications, coordinate with engineering teams, and ensure compliance with technical and quality standards.

  • Anticipate bottlenecks and manage critical risks by working collaboratively with the team to identify mitigations and implement effective workarounds.

  • Identify opportunities for improvement within the organization.

  • Analyze processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Actively drive setting standard labor hours and reducing actual labor hours for new products.

  • Present status, issues, plans and roadmaps to executive level

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.

  • Engineering background and manufacturing experience is a must.

  • Proven experience in project management, specifically in managing new product transitions.

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the product development process (PDP) and new product introduction (NPI) methodologies.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines.

  • Strong leadership abilities with the capability to effectively manage cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address issues and bottlenecks during the transition process.

  • Proficient in project management tools and software.

  • Proven Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control standards.

  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality results.

  • Proactive mindset, with the ability to anticipate risks and develop mitigation strategies.

  • Experience in the semiconductor industry, familiar with semiconductor equipment/process

  • Project management certification (PMP or equivalent) is preferred.
