Key Responsibilities

Directs a process technology group responsible for research, development and implementation of pilot production line for new products and extensions or enhancements to existing product lines Collaborate with R&D and production process, integration, operations and hardware teams to ensure completing the checklist on time to meet timeline needed to start HVM operations Track and manage schedules, deliverables, and risks for technology transfer and production milestones. Manages unusually complex, practical applications of scientific theory and processes in the development and ongoing technical management of the unit's products Leads alpha engineering program regarding all process technology related issues for the unit's product line Lead for alpha and beta product release for business unit's product line Interacts and offers solutions to address external customers unusually complex process issues to address customers High Value Problems (HVP) involving the business unit's product line Participates in strategic planning to integrate research and development processes with both the unit and the Product Business Group's overall business plan Provides approval guidelines and leadership to reporting process technology managers in the area of long-term strategy related to process development Defines performance metrics and reports on organization's progress against specific goals

Requirements

  • At least 10 to 15 years of semiconductor wafer fab production experience
  • Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and industry standards including technology transfer for deposition, etch, lithography and metrology
  • Comfortable working across time zones, collaborating with remote teams, and supporting factory-side execution
  • Strong organization, management, communication skills with attention to details.
  • Experienced as people and team management will be essential.
  • Experience in managing multiple projects within scope, budget, and timeline with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Demonstrate ability and experience to work, solve complex problems and drive projects to end goals completions.
  • Flexibility to travel back and forth between South East Asia and the USA (up to 30% of the time)
  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in STEM disciplines e.g. Physics, Chemistry, Electrical, Mechanical, or Materials Science Engineering
