Key Responsibilities
Ensure Export Compliance
- Review and monitor transactions for compliance with U.S. export regulations (EAR) and Singapore export controls
- Identify licensing requirements and compliance risks
- Support Licensing & Documentation
- Prepare and review export documentation and records
- Assist with export license applications and product classifications
- Maintain accurate compliance records in internal systems
- Coordinate Logistics Operations
- Work with supply chain and internal teams to support smooth shipment execution
- Ensure shipments meet regulatory and delivery requirements
- Monitor supply chain/transaction performance and escalate issues when needed
- Manage Risk & Improve Processes
- Identify potential compliance risks and recommend solutions
- Support audits and internal reviews
- Contribute to process improvements and compliance best practices
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally
- Partner with U.S.-based licensing teams and regional stakeholders
- Provide guidance on export compliance requirements
- Support training and awareness initiatives
- Analyze Data & Reporting
- Use Excel, Power BI / Tableau and compliance tools to analyze trade data
- Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders
- Assist Export control team to maintain accuracy in systems such as SAP GTS
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in international business, supply chain management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Experience
- 2+ years of experience in:
- Export compliance
- Global trade operations
- Freight forwarding or logistics for international shipments/transactions
Skills
- Strong knowledge of U.S. export regulations (EAR) and Singapore export controls
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office:
- Advanced Excel (data analysis and reporting)
- PowerPoint (presentations)
- Experience with Power BI / Tableau is a plus
- Experience with trade compliance systems or ERP tools (e.g., SAP GTS) and screening tool is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
