This role is open to new college graduates (NCGs) and includes a structured 6-month on-the-job training program in Linkou, followed by a permanent assignment in Taichung.


Key Responsibilities

Independently or as part of a team, contacts/visits existing and/or prospective customers.  

Identifies customer needs and assists in developing and implementing  sales strategies

Assists in customer demonstrations with product business group representatives

Communicate and present Applied Materials’ product roadmaps and capabilities to the customer, as well as communicating and presenting the customer’s technology needs to product business group representatives

Assists in preparing product pricing quotes and documentation needed to book an order.  May assist in negotiating final pricing.

Conducts follow-up on accounts receivables

Maintains appropriate coverage and documentation for all assigned customers.  Maintains summaries of customer visits. Develops customer specific action plans and completes them on a timely basis.

Qualifications

  • Recent Master's degree graduates with less than one year of work experience, including candidates who have completed mandatory military service within the past year, are encouraged to apply.
  • Preferred candidates possess a combination of technical and business education, such as an undergraduate degree in Engineering, Science, or Industrial Engineering (IE), followed by a Master's degree in Business, Management, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret data and convert insights into business actions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence diverse audiences.
  • TOEIC score of 800 or above with strong English communication skills.
  • Proactive, outgoing, and customer-oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience through student organizations, projects, internships, or extracurricular activities is a plus.
  • Familiarity with AI productivity tools and presentation development platforms is preferred.
