Tainan Display Manufacturing Center

Displays provide a window between people and the information universe. Humans crave information and we live in an era where digital information - entertainment, news, education, social networking, and much more – is readily available. Tainan Display Manufacturing Center (TMC) is the world-class manufacturing facility which lays a strategic role in employing deep display expertise to enable the next generation of displays. The fab helps display makers transform their ideas into reality and pave the way for the next generation of displays.

TMC plays a key role in advancing improvements such as image resolution and quality, size increases, and new form factors as the display industry has evolved from CRTs to LCDs, and now to OLED.  These innovations, along with reduced costs, have enabled new products and driven the proliferation of displays that create dynamic and stunning visual experiences for consume. 

The facility, which occupies about 5.1 hectares includes two cleanrooms and a laboratory. It is located close to customers in the Tainan Science Park, to provide fast support to our display customers throughout Asia

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with Marketing, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Logistics and across Business Units to ensure opportunities and sales orders are set up correctly in SAP. Coordinates schedule transition between NPI and HVM as well as other business groups.

  • Analyzes and maintains master schedule and/or slotting reports; runs and reports on metrics.

  • Follows documented business processes and identifies inconsistencies to management. Develops new business processes and solutions as needed.

  •  Manages order pull in / push outs including capacity constraint analysis.  Manages and maintains all milestone routings for products and test strategies globally.

  • Initiates demand in MRP (systems & non-system orders).  Monitors and validates MRP accuracy.  Researches engineering change orders; recommends changes and adjusts planning bills as required.  Resolves data integrity issues.  Responds to MRP validation inquiries from purchasing community.

  • Manages PIRs for material forecast and set of products. Manages overplan material.

  • Responsible for MRP integrity for products managed.

  • Participates in quarterly supply review process.

Requirement

  • 2-4 years years of experience in planning / operational roles

  • Good analytical skills & fast thinking will be a plus

  • Customer orientation with the ability to influence and motivate internal and external interfaces

  • Ability to work under pressure, manage and prioritize multiple tasks in parallel and manage timelines & due dates independently.

  • Good verbal skills, ability to present and communicate key messages to management forums.

  • Ability to manage long term tasks in addition to the daily execution.

  • Advantage for strong understanding of manufacturing processes

  • Advantage for experience in multiple project management
