Key Responsibilities

Leads practical applications of scientific theory and unusually complex processes in the development and ongoing technical management of the unit's product line

Leads research, development and implementation in new products and extensions or enhancements to existing product line

Interact with key customers to resolve unusually complex process engineering issues for the unit's product line to address our customers High Value Problems (HVP)

Leads alpha engineering program regarding all process technology related issues for the units product line

Responsible for alpha and beta product release for business unit's product line

Participates in strategic planning to integrate research and development processes with both the unit and the Product Business Group's overall business plan

Identify, select and work with vendors and suppliers

Functional Knowledge

  • Recognized as “guru” or external expert in a function
  • Demonstrates broad and comprehensive expertise in leading-edge theories, techniques and/or technologies within own field
