We are seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer EMEA to join our team, with the position based either at our office in San Biagio di Callalta (Treviso, Italy).

Key Responsibilities

  • Review Discrepant Material Reports (DMRs) submitted by suppliers in the BOX platform and determine appropriate disposition actions.
  • Collaborate closely with the Customer's Engineering Team to obtain technical input necessary for accurate disposition decisions.
  • Coordinate withField Service Organization (FSO) andStrategic Business Unit (SBU) partners to gather input for proper disposition of reported issues.
  • Engage with theCustomer Quality Team to review and address any escalations reported by customers.
  • Utilize theCustomer Relationship Management (CRM) tool to track field escalations, documentRoot Cause and Corrective Actions (RCCA), and ensure timely closure.
  • Document quality-related RCCA and preventive actions in theApplied Materials 8D (Eight Disciplines) database.
  • Provide regular updates and presentations to internal teams on the progress of 8D investigations.
  • Work directly with suppliers to initiate RCCA processes for reported quality issues.
  • Clarify any questions suppliers may have regarding newBest Known Methods (BKMs)for recycle cleaning kits
  • Conduct on-site audits of suppliers to validate the effectiveness of implemented RCCA.
  • Visit customer sites as needed to investigate quality issues, understand root causes, and report progress.
  • Collaborate with engineering / Cross functional teams to resolve issues raised by suppliers.
  • Work with packaging team to address any packaging related issue
  • Coordinate with Supplier Account Managers to facilitate support and resolution from the supplier side.
  • Obtain certification as anInternal Auditor for the Supplier Performance and Capability Assessment  (SPACA) program.
  • Audit potential new suppliers that Applied Materials is considering for theApproved Vendor List (AVL), provide recommendations, and ensure closure of any identified gaps or findings.
  • Take ownership ofFailure Analysis (FA) cases and work with engineering and suppliers to implement corrective actions.
  • Partner with engineering and suppliers to resolve quality issues related to W / 6K  parts ( Refurbished parts )  reported by customers.
